External and internal planters

Different environments
Although planters can greatly enhance indoor and outdoor environments, they bring challenges that call for careful consideration:

  • Inside. Internal plants tend to need more care than external ones. For instance, they need to be positioned so that they receive the right amount of sunlight and their leaves should be cleaned regularly. They also have to be positioned in such a way that they can be watered without spoiling the floor on which they sit.
  • Outside. Of course, external plants also have their own demands. They should be saved from insects, birds, rodents, weeds and other pests, and they also need supplementary watering when natural rainfall isn't enough. Containers also need to be chosen that can withstand extremes of moisture and temperature.

Specialist expertise
Our gardeners are well adept at maintaining both internal and external plants. This expertise begins with choosing the right plants to suit the conditions where they will grow. We also select the right compost, often with special moisture-retaining properties to suit container growing. And of course we also supply planters in all shapes, sizes and colours, and in a variety of materials including:

  • Plastic planters
  • Terracotta planters
  • Foam planters
  • Ceramic glazed planters
  • Wooden planters
  • Metallic planters
